Mata Capital acquires an off-market office building of nearly 9,000 sq m located in Aubervilliers, bordering the Saint-Denis canal, and 450m from the future Aimé Césaire metro station (Line 12, scheduled for completion end of 2021).
The building, currently over 90% leased to several tenants, including KDI company, is situated in a rapidly developing area north of Paris, which will soon see massive public investments, particularly as part of the Campus Condorcet project, the 2024 Olympic Games, and the Grand Paris development plan.
"We are delighted with our company's first investment in Aubervilliers, which we believe is one of the most promising areas in the inner Paris suburbs for the development of commercial real estate in the Île-de-France region," said Jean-Baptiste Avierinos, Investment Director.
Following this investment, Mata Capital, a portfolio management company (SGP) established in 2015, now manages approximately 700 million euros in real estate assets.
For this transaction, Mata Capital was advised by the notary office Allez & Associés (Guillaume Chemithe), the law firm Hogan Lovells (Michaël Levy), and 7 Concept (Chaouki Salamé).
The financing for the transaction was provided by Caisse d’Epargne Île-de-France, which was represented by the notary office Etude Michelet et Associés (Olivier Dagrenat).
