At 11–15 rue Ponscarme, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, Mata Capital continues the development of its Re-Génération project with the transformation of a former, now obsolete, clinic into a state-of-the-art educational hub, fully renovated and dedicated to higher education.
This rehabilitation project aims to breathe new life into an existing asset by adapting it to new educational uses and contemporary environmental requirements.
Ultimately, the building will house the future campus of IAE Paris – Sorbonne Business School, within a fully renovated complex brought up to current standards of performance and comfort.
A campus redesigned for learning and innovation
The building will span 3,800 m² across 7 floors, designed to foster learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing. The spaces have been conceived to offer a human-scale, functional, and adaptable working environment, meeting the needs of students, teaching staff, and all institutional partners.
The project adheres to rigorous environmental standards, with the aim of achieving BREEAM "Very Good" certification, reflecting Mata Capital's commitment to energy performance, user comfort, and building sustainability.
Through this operation, Mata Capital reaffirms its commitment to redeveloping existing urban buildings, by supporting urban and societal changes, particularly in the higher education sector.
An artistic intervention on the facade
As an extension of this transformation, a monumental fresco by artist Tim ZDEY, titled « Look up! », was installed on the main facade of the building.
With its dynamic forms and luminous gradients, the artwork evokes the movement of ideas, collective momentum, and the dissemination of knowledge. It accompanies the site's new identity and symbolizes the ambition of this future campus: an open, vibrant space focused on future generations.
